Fourteen Months

I'm, very, very behind of the blog. It turns out that chasing after a very active toddler is lots of work!

Eloise is quite a handful these days. Sometime after she turned one, she went from being my sweet, cuddly baby, to a very stubborn and willful toddler. She wants to do things her way with no help, thank you very much. She HATES to be told no, and will usually fling herself down on the ground in a tantrum if she doesn't get her way. And here I thought I had some time before all of this!

But at the end of the day, she is still a delight. Her words are improving every day. She can say Dada, and she says it a lot when she babbles, but when she is addressing Rod, she always calls him Ada. She also says Mama, hiya, and buh (which means a lot of things like bye, bottle, etc.) Her physical skills are impressive, and she can climb onto and over almost anything, making it difficult to contain her.

The weather was really nice this weekend and so we enjoyed a day at the park.

Here is the face Eloise makes when you tell her "no":
